Graeme has been involved in consulting for 35 years, was the partner
responsible for setting up the local government consulting group within the
Ernst & Whinney practice, was Information Technology Consulting Director for
Ernst & Whinney, and directed the local government consulting group within
Ernst & Young.
He has been involved with central, local and regional government, tertiary
education, energy, retail, distribution and transportation sectors and has
directed many successful consulting assignments in areas such as information
systems strategy, application systems selection, strategic
planning, management and financial management, fiscal planning, resource
management, organisation design, systems analysis, costing and feasibility
studies, and in the whole area of public sector reform.
Over the last 23 years Graeme has been responsible for managing large
multi-disciplinary teams in a number of diverse assignments, both within New
Zealand and overseas. He has worked extensively in New Zealand, Australia,
Bahrain, Canada, Fiji, Kiribati, Malaysia, Norfolk Island, Singapore, Tuvalu and
Western Samoa.
He has also presented a number of national papers and seminars in New Zealand
for the Society of Accountants, the Law Society, the Computer Society, the Real
Estate Institute and other bodies. Overseas he has presented papers on
public sector reform in Australia, Canada, Norfolk Island, Bahrain and Malaysia.
